The best street style from Copenhagen Fashion Week AW24
From the Mob Wife aesthetic and bold black faux leather to pastel blue and romantic reds, these are some of the best looks I spotted as a professional street style photographer
Copenhagen Fashion Week has come to an end, and what a wonderful season it was. As I write this, I've just had a couple of days to unwind and mentally process all the experiences and impressions that influenced me during the week. I worked both outside the shows, capturing street style, and backstage, photographing looks and moments for publications such as Vogue Scandinavia, Costume, and L'Officiel Chile.
My schedule was super busy as the shows and events are almost always back-to-back, and I worked early mornings and late nights. However, I also managed to squeeze in a proper lunch, a couple of cozy coffee breaks with dear colleagues and friends in the industry, and even two restaurant dinners (yay, it was so nice). Truth be told, this is not a given during Fashion Week season (hello, take-away in my hotel bed while editing photos). I feel very happy and inspired.
I will delve more into the biggest trends, share exclusive backstage images, talk about how I prepare myself for backstage photography and more a little later on. But for now, let's dive into the good stuff and get inspired by the very best street style the Danish capital had to offer!
All photos were taken by me during Copenhagen Fashion Week AW24.
Now you're probably thinking, ‘Wait, what, I recognize that girl’ and yes, it’s #TubeGirl Sabrina Bahsoon! With over 600 million views on TikTok, it’s safe to say she’s the most viral subway passenger ever. Sabrina was one of the hospitality guests of Copenhagen Fashion Week, and it was absolutely lovely meeting her.

The Mob Wife aesthetic featuring plush faux fur coats and leopard print was spotted literally everywhere during Fashion Week. Exotic animal prints, in general, are huge, and cheetah spots are the hottest.
Norwegian singer and stylist Kristina Teig Bergstrøm was to be seen in a printed sheer midi-dress, a wide statement belt, a glamorous gold colored coat, white tights, and brown boots.

One topic that was heavily discussed and also proven among many of the show-goers was the return of the luxury logo handbag. My prediction is that quiet luxury bags are gracefully taking a break, and we’re welcoming back some of the logo hype à la Y2K, with an eye-catching Louis Vuitton, Gucci, or Prada bag on your arm.
Stylist Sierra Rena was seen during Copenhagen Fashion Week rocking the luxury logo handbag trend. Pro tips! If you want to buy a luxury handbag, browse for a bag second hand at a curated second hand store like Vestiaire or your local thrift shop.

With the most romantic day of the year just around the corner, the Scandi street style stars couldn't get enough of the most passionate color of them all, red. I will dive deeper into this color trend next week, and also curate some favorite red styles that’ll make you look as amorous as ever.
I wish you a beautiful week!
